Cooperation with the Katholische Akademie as an entity of the catholic church in the light of sexual abuse cases

As elbMUN we condemn any acts of sexual abuse within the church, the impunity of abusers as well as facilitating structures. Therefore we welcome the proactive approach that our partners, the Katholische Akademie of the diocese Dresden-Meißen and especially their director, Dr. Thomas Arnold, have taken with regard to sexual abuse cases within the catholic church, condemning such abuse, creating platforms for information and fostering conversations around the topic.
